Georgetown Mutual Aid Fund

• What: Mutual aid fund and network for all students at Georgetown University. All funds that are donated are redistributed to students in need.

Hoya Hub 

• What: The Hoya Hub food pantry is a pantry stocked with non-perishable food items, available to anyone who needs food on an immediate, emergency basis.  No Hoya should go hungry; the Hoya Hub is a place to pick up nutritious food to cover short breaks or other unplanned gaps in access to meals.

Mental Health Fund

• What: This fund was created to address the financial challenges faced by students in accessing off-campus mental health services.  University mental health services, by design, work on a short-term model, and students with complex needs or needs for long-term therapy are sometimes referred to off-campus therapists and psychiatrists.  The intent of this fund is to help offset some of the cost of obtaining treatment for students who have financial need.

• What: 
  • Academic support (school supplies, technology, tutoring, testing/accommodations)

  • Professional Development Opportunities (Student Conferences & Leadership Opportunities, Interviews, Career/Internship)

• What:

• Who: Faculty, staff and AAPs working 75%FTE+; Georgetown University faculty, staff, AAPs and temporary employees (including Hoya Temps) regardless of %FTE; Full-time faculty, staff, AAP who have at least one full year of service (Respectively)

    • The Social Impact Internship Program (SIIP) provides a $1,500 stipend to support a Georgetown upperclassmen with high financial need to pursue an unpaid internship in government, nonprofit, education or other social impact field. 
  • For the summer: 
    • Penner Family Experiences Grant 
    • Application for the Penner Family Experiences Grant is open to Georgetown undergraduates who are seeking support for the costs of pursuing opportunities such as unpaid internships, study abroad expenses, travel or equipment for independent research, or service projects.
